I got my PhD in mathematics under supervision of Gerard Ben Arous at NYU in 2008.

So, my math genealogy is French-oriented.
According to Math Genealogy Project, it goes like this:

$ \uparrow $

Robert Azencott

Jacques Neveu $\leftarrow$ Robert Fortet $\leftarrow$ Maurice Fréchet

My PhD in Economics was written under supervision of Robert W. Rosenthal who was a mathematically trained economist and who worked in game theory. He taught me a lot about doing research.

On this side, my genealogy eventually goes to Germany.
