Mathematical Genealogy

I got my PhD in mathematics under Gérard Ben Arous at NYU in 2008, so my mathematical genealogy is French-oriented. According to the Mathematics Genealogy Project, it goes like this.

Robert W. Rosenthal My PhD in Economics was written under the supervision of Robert W. Rosenthal, a mathematically trained economist who worked in game theory. He taught me a lot about doing research. On this side, my genealogy eventually goes to Germany via David Hilbert.
